Old Salt is a heavy duty degreaser formulated to meet today’s needs of tough industrial cleaning along with improved safety and environmental friendliness. Old Salt works in place of caustic and/or objectionable solvent containing cleaning formulations, without performance compromise. Old Salt effectively cleans grease, hydraulic fluids and gear oils from production machinery, mill cellars, walls and floors. Old Salt has a viscosity typically thirty to forty centipoise, thicker than water, and will dwell on vertical surfaces, degreasing rather than running off. (Old Salt can be thickened by adding 10% water) Old Salt is typically used in steel mills, refineries and railroad shops.
